Kopenhagen is a Portuguese luxury brand specializing in indulgent creations crafted from premium chocolate and pistachio. The collection includes elegant chocolate bars, exquisite bonbons, and a signature pistachio cream, each designed to deliver a refined sensory experience. The brand identity reflects sophistication and indulgence, combining modern elegance with artisanal quality to capture the essence of a true luxury delicacy.
The Case
Kopenhagen is a Portuguese luxury brand dedicated to elevating the art of indulgence through its premium range of chocolate and pistachio products. The brand’s portfolio includes refined chocolate bars, artisanal bonbons, and a signature pistachio cream, each crafted with the highest attention to detail and quality.
The creative challenge was to design a visual identity and packaging system that would capture the brand’s luxurious essence while highlighting the unique pairing of chocolate and pistachio. Inspired by the elegance of European heritage brands, the design concept balances sophistication with modern minimalism.
Gold foiling, rich textures, and a refined color palette were carefully applied across packaging to emphasize exclusivity, while pistachio tones were subtly integrated to differentiate the brand and celebrate its signature ingredient. Typography was selected to reinforce elegance and timelessness, ensuring consistency across all applications—from product labels to premium gift boxes.
Through this project, Kopenhagen positions itself as more than just a confectionery brand: it becomes an indulgent experience. The design communicates craftsmanship, premium quality, and sensory delight, offering consumers not only a product but a taste of refined luxury.

Research & Positioning
Studied the pistachio market and luxury confectionery trends to define a unique narrative: sophistication meets indulgence through pistachio. Identified pistachio not only as an ingredient but as a symbol of refinement, health, and exclusivity.
Visual Identity Development
Developed a design system that balances minimalism and luxury, using refined typography and a restrained yet powerful color palette dominated by deep greens, creams, and metallic gold accents.
Positioned pistachio imagery as the hero, with artistic illustrations and textures that highlight the natural, artisanal qualities of the ingredient.
